Understanding Your Relationship with Addiction
Addiction counselling looks beyond simply asking you to stop a particular substance or behaviour. Therapy provides space to understand what is happening, what the addiction means within your life and why changing established patterns can sometimes feel so difficult.
Sessions allow you to explore your experiences without shame or judgement. Together, you can begin to recognise patterns, understand the thoughts and emotions connected with them and consider what you would like to change.
There is no assumption that everybody arrives at therapy at the same point or has the same goals. Support is shaped around your circumstances, allowing change to be approached at a pace that is realistic and meaningful for you.
